Thought I’d share a little FOTD with you guys as I haven’t done one since September! This is really an everyday, fresh look perfect for brightening up dull skin in these dreary winter months!
FOTD: STRONG BROW GLOWY EVERY DAY MAKE UP… |
I primed my skin with Benefit the Porefessional and then popped on my Rimmel Match Perfection Light Perfecting Radiance Foundation in 100 Ivory. I’ve just started using this foundation and I’m enjoying it so far, it smells very strange but it makes my skin look really glowy and dewy just the way I like it. The only downside is the lid doesn’t stay on the bottle so I’m constantly dropping it everywhere! Then I filled in my brows using my Benefit Brow Zings in Medium whose powder cracked when I opened it this morning! I’ve never had a product do this to me before and I’m so sad since I use this almost every day! I then popped on some Benefit Erase Paste in No 1 Fair under my eyes to colour correct my dark circles and used my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory over the top of this and also on my blemishes. This is also a new purchase and although it’s a little darker than the concealer I’d usually opt for, I really like the way it works with the Rimmel foundation as they both have a really nice warm tone.
After that I primed my eyelids with the Revlon Photoready Eye Primer and Brightener and went to work with the eyeshadow. I used my Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in 65 Pink Gold all over the lid to give it a nice sheen and then used the matte dark brown shade in my Sleek i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Storm through my crease and bottom eyelashes. I haven’t used this palette much since buying my Naked 2 and opening it again today I realised I really need to give it some more love, it has some really beautiful autumnal colours in there.
To finish my eyes I just tightlined using a little of my Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in 212 Rich Brown this just helped make my thin, short eyelashes look a little thicker. Finally I used my Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara in 001 Black on my lashes. I have been completely loving this mascara recently and reaching for it over my Clinique High Impact and my Estee Lauder Sumptuous.
For the rest of the face I used the George Queen Bee Bronzer in Honey Bronze. I picked this up from Asda for £4 and it’s such a brilliant bargain make up item. I didn’t check before doing the look but Asda no longer sell this product, or any other own brand make up apparently? I’m really sad about this as I got some lovely bargains from them in the summer. Anyway, I also used the highlighter in my Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light to highlight the top of my cheek bones and finished my face with the Icing Sugar blush in my Sleek Blush by 3 Pink Lemonade.
On my lips I used my well loved MAC Lipstick in Please Me. I’ve had this for a really long time (it’s the very first MAC lipstick I ever bought) and I used to wear it a lot. It’s a nice subtle pink daytime shade, or good for an evening if you’re going for a bold eye. However my lips are really dry and don’t respond well to the formula of matte lipsticks so I popped a little Revlon Moisture Stain in LA Exclusive over the top which also enhanced the colour just a little.
So guys hope you liked my FOTD post, haven’t done one of these in a really long time…
It kind of turned into a Benefit, Rimmel and Sleek FOTD, that was definitely not my intention!
Much love

This is such a lovely make up look – it looks beautiful! I’m definitely going to have to try it!
Thanks! I’m pleased you liked it xx
I, too, like a strong brow…though I think I over do it sometimes. 🙂 Benefit Brow Zings has been on my running list for years now but I’ve never actually tried it.
You can never have too much brow! It’s my favourite brow product by a long way, definitely recommend. xx
[…] the best thing since sliced bread. Both this and the concealer are products I featured in my recent FOTD post, and I’m wearing in the picture above. This mascara is just to die for! And that’s […]
loving the look, especially the brows. You are so pretty!
You’re too sweet. Thanks lovely xx
