Hey guys, here’s a little make-up/outfit combo post that I wore a little while ago, so I thought I’d share it with you all.
|OOTN & FOTN END OF UNI…
Firstly my outfit: The dress is from River Island and it is absolutely my favourite purchase of the summer. I love the bright graphic print, the fact that it has little sleeves and just that it’s super comfy but super stylish. AND it’s now on sale for just £17, check it out over here. I’ve got back into River Island only recently, for me they can be a bit hit a miss but I’m loving their dresses, playsuits and jewellery at the moment. I had on a Topshop bracelet with Primark rings, but the images don’t show them terribly well. And the platforms I picked up for £10 on Vinted. Vinted is a really cool platform for buying and selling second hand items, there are some really lovely bits on there so I’d definitely recommend you give it a look.
On to the make-ups! First I went in with my Benefit The Porefessional primer, which I’m really enjoying at the moment and then I moved on to my Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Make-Up SFP 10 in 1W1 Bone. This was a sample I had picked up as the Double Wear foundation is one I’ve been lusting after for a while. I have to say that I really liked the weight and the finish of the foundation but I don’t know if I like it enough to get over my hang up about buying foundation in glass bottles. Time will tell.
Next I filled in my eyebrows using my trusty Benefit Brow Zings in Medium. Once the eyebrows are done I move on to my lids, priming them with the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. This was another sample that I received with my Naked 2 Palette and I think it does the job nicely. I’m keen to try out a couple of other primers but this is definitely something I’d consider buying the full size of. From my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette I used the shades Booty Call, Half Baked and Tease to create the gold toned smokey eye, taking a little Tease underneath into my bottom lashes.
Rimmel Scandaleyes Gel Eyeliner in Black is what I used across the top of the lashes, I don’t think you can go wrong with Rimmel eyeliners and this is no exception, although I’ve managed to lose the brush it came wih which is a pain because I really liked it. Along my waterline I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eye Pencil in Perversion which is amazing, amazing, amazing. I have three of these Urban Decay pencils and they’re just wonderful. They stick to the waterline and don’t budge until you get your make-up remover out. I used my Maybelline the Falsies mascara, another fail safe and popped on some 007 Eye Candy False Lashes, which are my favourites at the moment for really dramatic eyes.
Once the eyes are done I highlight and conceal my under eye area with the Benefit Erase Paste in Fair I also use a little down my nose. A little while ago I said I really like this concealer and I think I still feel that same way about it but it does seem to rub off a little more than some concealers I’ve tried. Next I used the MAC Bronzing Powder in Golden to do a small amount of contouring in my cheek bones and then use the highlighter in my Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light across the top of my cheekbone and along my brow bone. I finish with the Sleek Blush By 3 in Pink Lemonade, brushing the cream blush over the apples of my cheeks.

this post is great, hate the fact I use all the make up near enough as you do but never look half as pretty as you do in the photos!!!
That’s really sweet of you though I’m sure it’s not true! Glad you enjoyed the post. Xx
