You may or may not be aware that tomorrow is international talk like a pirate day, yarrrr! So I thought it would only be fitting to share these pirate inspired nails with all ye scurvy dogs. (That’s it with the pirate talk I promise).

Another super simple nail design (I’m not exactly capable of anything but!). But I think this might double up as a good little tutorial for Halloween since it’s not far away now! Popped on a base coat followed by two layers of black polish to get a truly opaque finish. Then I got to work on the skull and the x marks the spot nails using the nail art pen which I have to say works absolute wonders but you could easily achieve the same effect with a toothpick if you don’t have a tool to hand. I wanted the remaining three nails to look a bit like treasure, so I went in first with some glitter polish and then used a fan nail art brush to get the splattered effect with the gold.
