Another little LUSH review for you. This time I tried the Mask of Magnaminty Face and Back Pack and the Happy Hippy Shower Gel.

MASK OF MAGNAMINTY has a a 4.5 average rating on the LUSH website and is supposed to leave your skin feeling “gently cleansed”. There is nothing I don’t like about this mask. It smells divine, it has a strong sent of peppermint and freshness that I absolutely cannot get enough of. I bought this in the new self-preserving version which means  that it’s much easier to spread across your skin and it doesn’t flake off or fall away as like the old version did. I haven’t actually used this on my back but I can imagine it would be an amazing cleanser if you were prone to breakouts. It’s very gentle but it does an amazing job, as soon as I wash it off I can feel a difference in my skin. It cleans my enormous pores immaculately and I can particularly feel the difference in my skin when I’m applying my moisturiser afterwards. It glides on and it’s just the nicest feeling.

HAPPY HIPPY  has a 4.5 average rating on the LUSH website and described as a  “ready to go” product, which I have to admit is completely true.  This is a really nice little shower gel that does the job. What first attracted me to it was the smell, it’s beautifully fresh smelling, like pink grapefruit so if you’re into fruity smells then this is really the LUSH shower gel for you. The fact that it is so fragrant means that it’s super refreshing and a really nice pick me up for the skin. I’d say this product is best used with a pair of gloves or a shower puff because it goes a long way and you only need a small amount to really soap it up. While I like this product on an artificial level, I have to admit that it isn’t LUSH’s greatest product for actually cleansing and moisturising the skin. It does leave some areas of my skin feeling a little oily, although this is really only a minor issue and it’s a really nice product overall.
